Get a new taste of Arabian desert dining in Dubai

A multi-sensory dining and entertainment option has debuted at The Fort – Lisaili.

Camel rides, quad biking, and desert dining are all on offer at The Fort – Lisaili, a newly-opened venue in Dubai styled as a camp.

Located a 45-minute drive from downtown Dubai, The Fort – Lisaili is aimed at those wanting to explore the desert at their leisure. Located in the village of Lisaili, a popular gateway to Dubai’s surrounding dunes, the venue is close to other landmarks such as Al Marmoom Heritage Village, Al Qudra Lake and Al Qudra Cycling Track.

Designed and operated by destination management company Arabian Adventures, part of dnata Travel Group, The Fort – Lisaili features multiple desert lounges and is close to Hidden Café, a popular spot for sunset viewing. Guests can enjoy a buffet dinner barbecue-style, soft beverages, live entertainment such as a fire show, camel rides and henna hand painting. Additional activities include quad bike rides, dune buggy rides, an Aperol Spritz sunset lounge with a fully stocked bar and an additional bar and Shisha lounge.

Alaa AlKhatib, vice president of destination management at the dnata Travel Group,  said: “The Fort – Lisaili marks the beginning of an exciting new chapter for Arabian Adventures and the Dubai desert’s entertainment landscape. It is designed to offer a customisable experience, where visitors can explore the beauty of the desert on their own terms. Our vision is to create an exciting and unique ‘desert destination’ with a diverse range of activities, attractions and events, creating a memorable experience.”
