The Czech Republic did not feel a short-term decrease in oil supplies via Druzhba

Moscow. November 25. INTERFAX.RU – The Czech Republic did not feel the short-term decline in oil supplies via the Druzhba pipeline, which occurred on November 24 due to a power outage in Ukraine, according to local news agency CTK.

Transportation of oil via the Druzhba from Ukraine to Slovakia was briefly interrupted on November 24, but resumed on the same day in the evening.

“The Czech Republic was not affected by the problem, since the supplies came from the resources of Slovakia,” Barbora Putcova, spokeswoman for the Czech pipeline operator MERO, told CTK.

The State Administration of Material Reserves (SSHR) in connection with the current situation consulted with the oil refinery Unipetrol (part of the Polish PKN Orlen Group).

“The refinery is supplied with oil and the market with fuel,” Pavel Shvagr, head of SSHR, assured.
